Position
The intern will work closely with our AI engineering teams to scrape, process, and manage data, as well as develop web applications for internal use.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
· Assist in developing and implementing large-scale data scraping processes from various public sources, including websites and APIs.
· Support the processing and organization of data in various formats (binary, images, text, JSON) to create usable datasets for AI engineers.
· Help manage data storage using different systems, such as object storage and document-based databases.
· Contribute to the development of simple web applications to enable data filtering and moderation by the AI team.
· Collaborate with experienced engineers and learn about best practices in data engineering and software development within an AI context.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Familiarity with data scraping, data processing, and software development.
· Familiarity with programming languages used in data engineering and web development, such as Python and JavaScript.
GOOD TO HAVE
· Experience with cloud computing providers such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
· Experience with web automation frameworks and tools such as BeautifulSoup, Puppeteer, Selenium, Playwright.
· Knowledgeable in best practices to avoid throttling (IP rotation, proxy servers, etc.)
